God has told me to write. So, I cannot tell you how this will end. . .
For the longest, I have needed to go to the optometrist to have my eyes examined. Things got in the way (i.e. work, school, church, sleep, life, etc.) I guess I didn't want to go since I kept on putting off the inevitable.
Today, I had wanted to go to IKEA. I was going to wear my glasses but it was raining. I didn't want to be wiping my glasses all the time. So, I went to put in my contact lenses. Of course, I tried doing this by the sink in which my makeup sponges were soaking. My left eye lens falls into the sink.
My mom and I looked everywhere in the bathroom for the lens. It was difficult because it's clear and makes no noise. We prayed. I kept promising God I would make an eye appointment. Eventually, I did. Then, Mom found my contact lens. It was in the water that we'd poured into a clear container. I've learned this lesson.

A few years ago, a little girl was baptised at my church. She was six years old. Before she was baptised, she read her testimony. She said something along these lines, "I didn't like being alone and I was afraid. But, I'm never alone because I have Jesus. " None of us are ever alone. Even non-Christians aren't alone - God is waiting for them.

May

Here is a recent picture of me. After finishing a semester and making A's in both of my classes, I got to see my friend graduate. It was cool (both the weather and the experience) and I got to see Philadelphia and NYC. May has been a whirlwind for me. I've barely had time to rest. Oh, well.
SRP starts Tuesday. The library should be a popular hang out for the next couple of months. All that free stuff and A/C really brings in the crowds.
In another week or so, I start another class. I'm taking two five week courses. I pray for enlightenment. By the way, I got a summer scholarship. Yippee!
As for social life, it will be in a vegetative state while I work to complete my library degree. In the fall, I'm looking forward to Baylor Homecoming, WOW retreat, and Eva's Graduation. Eva Marie, I'm making those reservations.
